We changed the old table support in our camper dinette with a Springfield Air-Powered 3-Stage Pedestal made especially for boats and RVs. We had the choice between different colors and finishes, and we decided to go with the anodized finish. The black pedestal looks great but is more expensive than the anodized finish.
Since we wanted the table to lower to 12″ to become a support for the bed, we were looking for a pedestal that would match the height of our dinette benches. We find the table pedestal stable and easy to lower when it’s time to transform the dinette into a sleeping area. As for the table, we bought a countertop from IKEA and cut it to the right size.
